Cheyenne’s Story

Five year old Cheyenne’s family noticed she had some bruising appearing out of the blue. Some bumps then appeared as well. The family’s doctor saw the bruising and immediately sent them over to the children’s hospital. A day later she was diagnosed with leukemia, which completely took the family by surprise.

Cheyenne immediately began treatment in June 2025. So far it appears the treatment is work although the medication has been making her sick as well as lose her appetite. The family is navigating these symptoms as Cheyenne continues with treatment. The treatment plan will continue for the next 2.5 to 3 years. Although it is a long road ahead, Cheyenne and her family remain hopeful. As a family they continually say “I love you to the moon and back” to each other. No matter what comes their way they will face it together!
