Aydan’s Story

Aydan is a bright, kind, and incredibly brave 11-year-old who recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. He has been diagnosed with Von Hippel–Lindau disease and hemangioblastoma. This diagnosis has been life-changing for Aydan and our family, bringing countless doctor visits and many uncertainties as we navigate his ongoing treatment. At the same time, we are grateful to finally have answers after months of watching him feel unwell without knowing the cause.

After months away, Aydan has recently returned to school. More than anything, he wants to be a normal kid again—and he’s doing an amazing job. His strength, resilience, and positive spirit continue to inspire everyone around him.
