Anthony’s Story

In September 2023, Anthony suffered double ear and double eye infections. He continued to fluctuate up and down and ensure bouts of extreme pain. In December 2024, after a lot of back and forth with doctors, he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma, a type of cancer that develops in the nasopharynx.

Anthony began chemo to treat the cancer. In the middle of 2025 he and his mom traveled to San Diego where he went through 33 straight days of radiation. They are back home now reunited with his dad and younger brother! Anthony’s most recent PET scan and MRI in August 2025 looked really good. He is expected to have two more rounds of chemo over the next two months.

Anthony just started middle school and is trying to get adjusted to a new school while still fighting cancer. He is looking forward to swimming and flag football later in the school year! Anthony’s shirt is such a good reminder to all of us that we can face anything head on - never give up never back down!
