Malik’s Story
In March 2025, Malik was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Suddenly, every week started involving hospital visits, treatments and sometimes even full admissions. His family had to adapt to this new reality and balance jobs, appointments, things going on at home and Malik’s care.
Malik just completed a 28 day round of chemo which required him to wear a backpack 24/7. He continues to be such a bright light and has been a trooper through it all. The road ahead can feel daunting with 1-2 more years still left of treatment but his family and team are really happy with his progress and how his treatment is progressing. Malik’s family has worked together to build new routines and help each other out. They choose to look ahead, hold onto hope and move forward together!
